When you close your eyes and ask yourself this question, what do you see? When I close mine, I’m back home in Poland, in a tiny village I was growing up. I’m in the nearby forest, and I’m sitting on a bright green moss, feeling the cold soil under my fingertips.

I feel the rays of the sun on my skin. I breath in the fresh, still cold, spring air. It’s so quiet there, it feels save. I’m in peace.

Magic is the smell of herbs and cooking in my Grandma’s kitchen. It’s the bird’s song, and the morning dew on my rain-boots when I was fishing with my Grandpa. It’s the sound of laughter, and the pink and violet sky at dawn, when my friends and I were playing hide-and-seek for hours. Magic is in the smell of resin in my mom’s hair, when she was coming back from work, and in her bright blue eyes looking at me with love and pride.

Magic is the first time I’ve heard the wolf' s cry behind our stable. It’s also the feeling of cold water on my body when I was swimming in a pond during the Midsummer Night. Magic is with me whenever I look at the Stars and the Moon. Magic is feeling complete, balanced, happy. Magic is a Harmony and Chaos coexisting.  The second you’ll stop running from your Darkness, you’ll embrace it, fall in love with it and start dancing with your Shadows- that's when the real Magick begins.
